Practice like Sama Vritti with extended exhalations 2x the in breath.

No retention necessary.

Begin inhaling for 4 seconds, exhaling slow and controlled for 8 seconds. You can also try inhaling for 4 seconds, exhaling for 6 seconds. Find what feels best for your body, and allow the breath to bring you into the moment.

 

It’s all balanced through the breath.

Where breath goes, prana flows. Allow your vital life force to flow through your body and energy channels through different breathing techniques, and find what brings you the most balance.
